By downloading, accessing, or using the ExamBuddy mobile application or website (https://exambuddy-xi9a.onrender.com/), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
2. Educational Use License
ExamBuddy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and download study materials, previous year papers (PYQs), and lecture notes solely for non-commercial, personal academic study and revision purposes.
You agree not to:
- Sell, redistribute, commercialize, or re-package materials downloaded from ExamBuddy for monetary gain.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application's source code or backend APIs.
- Use automated scripts or scrapers to bulk extract app databases or server resources.
3. Non-Affiliation Disclaimer (Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya)
ExamBuddy is an independent, non-official student-led educational platform. The app is NOT officially affiliated with, authorized, maintained, sponsored, or endorsed by Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGU), Bilaspur, or any of its constituent faculties or administrative offices.
All university names, departmental references, subject titles, and logos are used solely under nominative fair use for identification and educational organization purposes. For official university circulars, admission details, and authorized notices, students should always consult the official university portal at www.ggu.ac.in.
4. User Contributions & Study Notes
Students who submit handwritten notes, formula sheets, or question papers to ExamBuddy represent and warrant that their submission does not violate any copyright, confidential exam repository restrictions, or intellectual property rights. By contributing, you grant ExamBuddy a perpetual, royalty-free license to display and distribute the material for the benefit of fellow students.
5. Accuracy of Tools & Information
While we make every effort to ensure that the CGPA calculator, attendance tracker, and academic calendars reflect current university regulations:
- The CGPA / SGPA calculator is a reference tool based on the standard 10-point CBCS ordinance. Official grades and degree classifications are determined solely by the Controller of Examinations, GGU.
- Attendance calculations are estimates for personal planning. Official attendance percentages are determined exclusively by respective department faculty registers.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExamBuddy and its student developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application, including errors in study notes, temporary downtime, or reliance on unofficial schedules.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, within the jurisdiction of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
